Dr Ed Gibbons

Dr Ed Gibbons focuses solely on dermatology. He assesses and treats a wide range of skin conditions in adults and children, including acne and acne scarring, rosacea, eczema and dermatitis, psoriasis, rashes, pigmentation concerns, skin infections, hair loss, nail disorders, lumps, bumps and cysts, and changing moles.

His clinical work includes medical dermatology, skin cancer screening and minor surgical procedures. He uses dermoscopy and dermatoscopy to assess moles and pigmented lesions, including checks for melanoma, basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, sun damage and precancerous change. Where needed, lesions may be monitored, photographed or removed for histology.

Dr Gibbons has a PG Dip Dermatology and works as a Specialist Doctor at The Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester, as well as in a local NHS community dermatology clinic.
