Primus Physio

Primus Physio is in Newcastle-under-Lyme and has one site. It provides physiotherapy for back pain, sciatica, neck pain, shoulder pain, knee pain, hip pain and ankle pain.

The clinic also treats plantar fasciitis, running injuries, sports injuries, tennis and golfer's elbow, carpal tunnel and post-surgery rehab. Bookable care includes initial assessment and treatment, follow-up physiotherapy, sports massage and a Service and MOT session for injury prevention and maintenance.

Sciatica care covers nerve pain, leg pain, numbness, tingling and lower back pain. Treatment may include manual therapy, nerve mobilisation exercises, strength rehabilitation, pain management advice and return to work or sport plans.

Care is clinic-based. Sessions can include hands-on treatment and a personalised rehabilitation plan. The practice says no GP referral is needed. Evening and weekend appointments are available.

Primus Physio is recognised by AXA Health, Bupa, WPA, Aviva and Vitality Health. It asks insured patients to bring membership details, an authorisation code and the number of approved sessions.
