Dr Varun Dravid

Dr Varun Dravid helps patients with dermatology concerns and minor skin procedures at Niva Medical Clinic. He has a specialist interest in dermatology, with training in minor skin surgery, cryotherapy and dermoscopy.

His work includes removal of benign skin lesions, cryotherapy for warts, age spots and actinic keratosis, and diagnostic punch biopsy under local anaesthetic, with the skin sample sent to a laboratory. He also carries out excisional surgery for benign skin lesions such as moles, lipomas and cysts.

Dr Dravid’s dermatology training included a two-year specialist course combining practical, theoretical and clinical experience, supplemented by advanced courses in minor skin surgery, cryotherapy and dermoscopy.
