Dr Katie Barber

Dr Katie Barber is a GP and registered menopause specialist with a particular interest in women’s health, gynaecology and urogynaecology. Her work includes helping women manage aspects of the menopause.

She holds the Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and the Diploma of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare. She has also been awarded the Advanced Certificate of Menopause Care by the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare and the British Menopause Society, and is a Registered British Menopause Society Specialist.

Dr Barber has worked in NHS roles in Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire for over 20 years, including as a GP with a Special Interest in Gynaecology and Urogynaecology at the John Radcliffe Hospital. She was Clinical Lead for the NHS Menopause service at the John Radcliffe until March 2021, and became Clinical Lead for the NHS Community Gynaecology Service in Oxfordshire.
