Dr Abi Smail

Dr Abi Smail helps patients with general practice concerns and has a particular interest in skin assessment and minor surgery. At The Carriage House Clinic, she leads the GP-led skin service, including mole checks, assessment of skin lesions and minor surgical procedures to assess and remove a variety of benign skin lesions.

She can assess areas of concern before treatment and discuss the options available. The clinic lists benign conditions including cysts, moles, lipomas, skin tags and seborrhoeic keratosis.

Dr Smail qualified from The University of Nottingham in 2001 and became a GP in 2013. She also holds the Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and the Diploma in Sexual and Reproductive Health, and works part-time as an NHS locum GP alongside her role at The Carriage House Clinic.
