Abi McGuinness Chiropractic

The new patient consultation at Abi McGuinness Chiropractic is an assessment and treatment session for people with musculoskeletal conditions. It includes a blood pressure check, gentle range of motion testing and, if needed, orthopaedic and neurological tests. The practice provides care in Guildford and Betchworth.

Care includes McTimoney chiropractic technique, joint mobilisation techniques, neuromuscular soft tissue technique and medical acupuncture. Exercise and self-care advice may be included where appropriate. The clinical focus includes acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions and pain science.

The practice also offers the Epley Manoeuvre for people with a previous diagnosis of BPPV, Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo. Follow-up sessions are available if required.

Animal care is part of the practice. Services include canine and equine initial consultations, follow-up treatment, assessment and treatment. Travel expenses may apply for animal appointments. Abi McGuinness has undertaken further study with the International Academy of Veterinary Chiropractic and completed an equine sports massage diploma.

The wider clinical team includes sports massage. Areas covered include deep tissue massage, injury recovery, movement therapy, biomechanics, muscle tension, sports injuries and postural imbalances.

Abi McGuinness is registered with the General Chiropractic Council and is a member of the McTimoney Chiropractic Association.
