About Alresford Podiatry
Alresford Podiatry treats foot and lower limb problems in Alresford. Care includes new patient assessment, routine podiatry and chiropody, nail care, basic nail cutting, diabetic foot care, fungal nail assessment and treatment, verruca assessment and treatment, and ingrown toenail assessment and treatment.
The practice provides biomechanical and gait assessment for the foot and lower limb. This includes a treatment plan and orthotics if needed. Its pain and sports injury clinic is for pain in the feet, ankles, knees, hips or back where the feet may be involved.
Minor surgery is available for ingrown nails, with an ingrown toenail assessment required first. The practice also offers luxury foot care, including podiatry and nail treatment followed by Swedish foot massage, foot butter and hot boot therapy.
Home visits are offered locally on Thursdays for people who cannot attend the clinic. The clinic moved to a larger room with designated parking from 1 July.
Care is provided by Owain, a State registered podiatrist, registration CH14964. He completed a BSc(Hons) Podiatry at the University of Brighton in 1999, then spent nine years working in NHS hospitals in the South of England before running private clinics in Portugal's Algarve from 2008 to 2023.
