Yes. Child appointments are available, and Aphrodite Hadjisocratous has experience with babies, toddlers and older children.

Are online appointments available?

Some services can be offered online. Nutritional therapy can be arranged by Zoom, homeopathy by Skype, Zoom or WhatsApp, and counselling is available in clinic or online.

Can Ambacare refer me on if needed?

Amanda Musgrave-Wood may refer or recommend another specialist practitioner if needed. She may also suggest a consultant opinion through your GP.

About Ambacare

Ambacare Ltd provides osteopathy and complementary therapies in Moffat. Its care includes osteopathy, acupuncture, sports massage and strapping.

The osteopathy team uses structural, cranial, visceral, functional, classical and biomechanical approaches. Techniques include soft tissue work, positional release, muscle energy techniques, manipulation, mobilisation and stretching. The team's stated areas include sports therapy, sports injury management and care for babies, toddlers and older children. Child first appointments and child standard appointments are available.

The acupuncture service includes full Chinese acupuncture. Sports massage and Swedish massage are also available. Swedish massage is offered for relaxation and muscular tension.

The wider clinical team covers biodynamic cranio-sacral therapy, counselling, CBT, nutritional therapy, homeopathy, hypnotherapy, reflexology and shiatsu. Counselling includes CBT and work with children. Counselling is available in the clinic or online. Nutritional therapy can be delivered by Zoom or at the clinic. Homeopathy is available by Skype, Zoom or WhatsApp.

New patients are welcome. The osteopaths work within Government and healthcare professional regulations. The osteopaths are registered with the General Osteopathic Council. The wider practitioners are qualified and registered with their relevant governing bodies.
