AMS Therapy

At AMS Therapy, the therapist provides hands-on soft tissue therapy, sports and remedial massage, movement coaching, injury support and personal training. Care is based around the practice's Assess, Mobilise, Strengthen approach, with sessions tailored to the individual after assessment of posture, movement and areas of pain or restriction.

Massage services include deep tissue massage, trigger point release, myofascial release and remedial massage. These are offered for issues such as muscle tension, stress, injury recovery and circulation support, using hands-on treatment alongside movement advice where appropriate.

Mobility and movement coaching covers postural assessment, movement screening, corrective exercises, and strength and mobility guidance. Injury support and rehabilitation sessions focus on reducing pain, restoring movement and building strength after injury, with exercise adapted to the person's goals.

Personal training is available as 1-1 and 2-1 sessions, including weight loss, strength and conditioning, corrective exercise and rehab exercise. The therapist's background includes over 10 years as a personal trainer, followed by retraining in remedial and sports massage therapy.

AMS Therapy works from a studio in Southampton with a treatment room, gym space and exercise equipment. The studio includes a treatment couch, rehab and exercise area with mats, rollers, balls and bands, plus equipment such as a posture wall, TRX, kettlebells, workout bench, dumbbells and bars. Free parking is available on site.
