Avon Chiropractic provides chiropractic care for back pain, neck pain, sciatica, lumbago and other musculoskeletal conditions at clinics in Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwick.

The practice works with disorders of the musculoskeletal system, including bones, joints and muscles, and the effects these can have on the nervous system and general health. Care may include diagnosis, advice, treatment, monitoring of progress, or medical referral where appropriate.

Conditions treated include general, acute and chronic backache, back pain not arising from injury, mechanical neck pain, headache arising from the neck, migraine prevention, generalised aches and pains, muscle spasms and cramp, and tension and inability to relax. The practice also lists joint pains, hip and knee pain from osteoarthritis, elbow pain and tennis elbow, ankle sprain, rotator cuff injuries, soft tissue conditions of the shoulder, minor sports injuries and tensions, and plantar fasciitis.

Treatment uses a hands-on chiropractic approach. Techniques include manual therapy, chiropractic joint manipulation, joint adjusting techniques for the spine and limbs, mobilisation, deep tissue massage, active release therapy, fascial release, soft tissue techniques, muscle stretching techniques, dry needling acupuncture, taping and ultrasound therapy.

Avon Chiropractic also provides exercise prescription, specific rehabilitation exercise, education advice and foot orthotics. An exercise app is used for prescribed exercises, with video demonstrations and instructions for use at home.
