Brighton Physiotherapy Clinic

Brighton Physiotherapy Clinic is for people needing physiotherapy for pain, injury, dizziness, balance problems or pelvic health symptoms. Care is provided by chartered physiotherapists, with work across musculoskeletal injuries, vestibular rehab and women's and men's health.

Services include physiotherapy, sports massage, vestibular rehab, women's health physiotherapy, injection therapy and TMJ therapy. The clinic also offers a Donjoy / DJO Fitting Centre and work station assessments with a report.

It treats frozen shoulder, shoulder impingement, acromioclavicular joint instability and rotator cuff injuries. Elbow, wrist and hand work includes tennis elbow, golfer's elbow, RSI and carpal tunnel syndrome. Lower limb work covers hip, buttock and groin pain, knee ligament injuries and cartilage disorders. It also covers shin splints, ankle instability, Achilles tendinopathy and plantar fasciitis.

Spinal care includes whiplash, low back pain, sciatica, neck pain and cervical headaches. Thoracic and rib pain, nerve pain, arthritic conditions and post-fracture or post-surgery rehab are also treated. Vestibular rehab is offered for dizziness, balance disorders and BPPV. TMJ therapy is available for temporomandibular joint dysfunctions.

Women's health physiotherapy covers pelvic floor tightness or weakness, prolapse, pelvic pain and pregnancy related pelvic girdle pain. It also covers incontinence, constipation, urinary frequency, urgency and overactive bladder syndrome. Other stated areas include interstitial cystitis, vaginismus, vulvodynia, diastasis recti and postnatal scarring. New Mum Checks and pelvic health online video consultations are available.

Appointments can be in person, by online video consultation, or as home visits where available. Home visits are offered for elderly patients and more complex rehabilitation or neurological patients. The clinics in Kemptown, Hove and Fiveways are wheelchair accessible.
