At Central Health London, Dr Ben Davis provides private men’s health GP care, sexual medicine and psychosexual therapy. He works with men who have concerns about erections, libido, sexual performance anxiety, painful sex, fatigue, low energy, mood, confidence, hormonal symptoms and wider health changes that are difficult to pin down.

His general and preventative men’s health care covers cardiovascular health, including blood pressure, cholesterol and diabetes risk, prostate health, including urinary symptoms, BPH and prostate cancer risk, mental health concerns such as anxiety, low mood and stress, cancer screening and prevention, skin conditions and other general medical concerns.

Hormonal and metabolic care includes low testosterone, hypogonadism, testosterone deficiency syndrome, difficulties with symptoms despite testosterone replacement therapy, anabolic steroid recovery and harm minimisation. He also sees men with fatigue, brain fog, low energy, weight gain and metabolic health concerns, including prediabetes, diabetes and high cholesterol.

Sexual medicine covers erectile dysfunction, unreliable erections, low libido, reduced sexual desire, premature ejaculation, sexual performance anxiety and painful sex. Sexual health care includes STI prevention, diagnosis and treatment, as well as sexual health screening. For gay, bi and queer men, Dr Davis covers sexual difficulties and intimacy concerns, painful anal sex, compulsive sexual behaviour, anal cancer screening and HPV-related disease, HIV-related sexual health, PrEP, and vaccination including HPV, gonorrhoea and hepatitis.

His assessments bring together medical, hormonal, psychological and relational factors. Blood tests can be arranged where appropriate, including testosterone, metabolic markers, thyroid and cardiovascular risk. Where needed, he can also arrange ultrasound, MRI or CT scanning, and coordinate referral to another specialist while remaining involved in the care.

Dr Davis is a UK-trained GP and men’s health physician with over 15 years of clinical experience, trained at Cambridge and UCL. He holds MRCGP and MRCP, a PhD in men’s emotional and sexual health, Fellowship of the European Committee of Sexual Medicine, and is a COSRT-registered psychosexual and relationship therapist. Initial assessments are usually in person where possible, and many follow-up consultations can be held by video. You do not need a GP referral to see him.
