Dan Smith

Dan Smith works with pain, injury and movement problems, with a particular focus on spinal conditions and back pain. He can assess back or neck pain, sports injuries and longer-term musculoskeletal issues, and is trained as a First Contact Practitioner to assess and diagnose musculoskeletal problems early, including identifying when further investigation may be needed.

His approach includes evidence-based physiotherapy, clear diagnosis and advanced communication techniques such as motivational interviewing. He has worked closely with orthopaedic teams and spinal consultants as a clinical specialist in spine care.

Dan also has five years of experience in elite-level football, informing his work in sports injury management and paediatric musculoskeletal care. In the NHS, he has treated people with neurological conditions, complex pain and learning difficulties.
