Clarity Psychiatry

Psychiatric and neurodevelopmental assessments at Clarity Psychiatry are for people seeking help with mental illness, autism or ADHD. The practice is based in Shrewsbury and provides private self-pay care for clients aged 6 to 64 at the time of their first appointment.

Care is delivered by a Consultant Psychiatrist who is also qualified as a Psychotherapist. The service covers assessment, diagnosis and treatment for anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, self harm and sleep disturbances. It also provides diagnosis and management of neurodevelopmental conditions, including autism and ADHD.

Clarity Psychiatry sees both adults and children. Initial assessments are carried out in person, with follow-up options available in person or through secure video streaming, depending on preferences and clinical suitability.

Treatment may include psychiatric review, psychological assessment, therapy that blends psychiatric and therapeutic principles, and initial or repeat prescriptions where the assessing clinician considers this appropriate. The practice may also share reports with a GP where the client gives consent and provides the necessary GP details.

The service is private and self-pay. Clarity Psychiatry reserves the right to decide whether its service is appropriate for an individual, and may direct clients to a GP or another provider if ongoing care is not suitable.
