Core Body Massage Therapy

Core Body Massage Therapy is in Winchester. It provides advanced clinical massage and sports massage for musculoskeletal pain, injuries and stress.

Gail Dawe is a fully qualified advanced clinical massage therapist with five years' sports massage experience. She works with chronic and acute musculoskeletal conditions, ongoing injuries and chronic pain conditions.

Clinical areas include low back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, frozen shoulder and rotator cuff injury. She also works with RSI, forearm and wrist pain, tennis elbow, golfer's elbow and carpal tunnel. Other areas include hip and pelvis pain, sciatica, piriformis syndrome, leg pain and shin splints. She lists knee and foot pain, plantar fasciitis, headaches, migraines, whiplash and TMJ pain. She also covers fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, anxiety, sporting injuries, sprains, strains and scar tissue.

Treatments used include deep tissue massage, myofascial and soft tissue release, trigger point therapy and advanced stretching. She also offers hot stone therapy and trigger point dry needling. Sports massage therapy is used for pain, injury and stress management.

Her ACMT Certificate in Advanced Clinical Massage covers low back pain, neck and shoulder work, hip and pelvis pain. It also covers leg, knee and foot work, arm, wrist and hand, advanced anatomy, pathologies and stretching. She has a VTCT Level 4 Diploma in Sports Massage and an ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Holistic Massage. Further study includes advanced dry needling, hot stone massage, deep tissue massage, Thai massage, TMJ pain and electrotherapy. Her memberships include CNHC, Complementary Health Professionals, the Federation of Holistic Therapists, Sports Massage Association and Sports Therapy Organisation.
