Dental care at Corfe Mullen Dental Surgery covers preventative treatment, emergency appointments and routine assessment of teeth and gums in Wimborne. The practice provides NHS dental care and private cosmetic dentistry, with X-rays carried out within the practice to help diagnose tooth and gum disease, hidden decay, impacted teeth and issues with deep fillings.

Children are encouraged to attend from an early age so they can get used to dental visits and reduce the risk of dental problems developing. New patients complete a medical history before registration and an initial consultation. That first visit includes an examination, any necessary X-rays, a review of medical history, discussion of dental needs and concerns, and a personal treatment plan with costs.

Principal dentist Dr Jonathan Mynors-Wallis qualified in 1989 and has postgraduate qualifications including a Masters in Clinical Dentistry. The practice has been a member of the British Dental Association Good Practice Scheme for 15 years. At its last Care Quality Commission inspection, it received a positive report and met the Commission's requirements.
