About Dr David Cunningham

Dr David Cunningham helps people with anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, OCD, addiction, chronic pain, low self-esteem, grief, relationship challenges, ADHD and questions of identity. He offers one-to-one therapy and draws on trauma-focused therapies, person-centred approaches and psychological models.

He provides adult ADHD assessments, diagnosis and support, following NICE guidelines. He does not provide pharmacological treatment, but can offer advice and referrals to appropriate specialists if medication is being considered.

Dr Cunningham also provides gender identity support, affirmative psychological assessments and gender recognition assessments, with reports where needed for legal or medical pathways. His work is informed by WPATH Standards of Care. Appointments are available online across Scotland and beyond, or in person in Inverness and Fife.
