Professor Nikos Mardas

Professor Nikos Mardas is a Specialist in Periodontics whose clinical work includes periodontics and implant dentistry. His background includes specialist training in Periodontology at the Royal Dental College, University of Aarhus, where he also completed a Master of Science in Periodontology.

His research focuses on bone and periodontal tissue regeneration, including the GTR principle, bone grafts, bone substitutes and growth factors, as well as healing in conditions such as osteoporosis and outcomes in implant therapy. He has published in national and international peer-reviewed journals and has lectured nationally and internationally.
