Nikita Desai

Nikita Desai helps patients with cosmetic and restorative dentistry at 8to8 Buckie, with a particular interest in advanced composite bonding and minimally invasive techniques used to improve the function and appearance of smiles. She also provides advanced restorative and aesthetic treatments, including smile makeovers, supported by a Postgraduate Diploma in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry from the Smile Dental Academy.

She is trained in sedation through the Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry, which enables her to manage anxious patients with sedation. Her role includes Associate Dentist, Sedation Dentist and Dentist with Special Interest in Cosmetic Dentistry.

Mrs Desai graduated from Maharashtra University in 2008, completed the Overseas Registration Examination to practise in the UK, and has worked at the practice for over 8 years. She is also a vocational trainer with NHS Education for Scotland and has taken part in NIHR-funded research on full pulpotomy as an alternative to root canal treatment for irreversible pulpitis.
