Formby GP

Formby GP works from two sites, in Formby and Liverpool. It provides private GP care for people with health concerns, symptoms, family history of a condition, or a need for ongoing general practice support.

The practice offers private GP consultations, private prescriptions, blood tests and other laboratory tests through private laboratories. It also provides screening, health checks and MOTs, and can refer patients to specialist healthcare services, either NHS or private, where appropriate.

Women’s health is included through its private menopause care in Formby. The practice also states that patients can choose between a male and female GP, which may be relevant for patients who have a preference for who they see.

Care is available face to face, by video and by phone. Home visits are offered to patients in Formby and surrounding areas, including Southport, Hightown, Crosby, Liverpool, Sefton, Knowsley and West Lancashire. The practice also answers email queries from regular patients.

Formby GP is CQC registered. It offers pay-as-you-go appointments and also has a Priority Club option for patients who need private prescriptions for more than five items per year or who need a lot of email advice.
