See Me GP

See Me GP provides private GP appointments for general medical concerns, prescriptions, tests, referrals, vaccinations and medicals. Care is available in person at Place Eight Wellness in Swanbourne, with telephone and video consultations also offered.

Clinical testing includes blood tests, urine tests, microbiology swabs and sexual health screening. It uses fully regulated laboratories for private clinical testing. Named tests include ECGs, diabetic profiles, vitamin D tests, cholesterol tests and iron status profiles. Allergy testing, fertility profiles, hormone level testing and thyroid profiles are also listed.

The GPs can arrange diagnostic referrals where needed. This includes x-rays, ultrasound, CT and MRI scans. Other listed tests include 24-hour ECG monitoring, ambulatory 24-hour blood pressure monitoring, hearing tests, cervical screening and spirometry.

Travel health is covered through vaccinations, including vaccines for travel requirements. Listed vaccinations include HPV, pneumococcal, shingles, meningitis B, hepatitis B, chickenpox and seasonal influenza.

Medical services include retirement medicals, Well Woman, Well Man and Well Person checks. Further listed medicals cover HGV and taxi medicals, and pre-employment medicals. The practice also supports certain insurance and occupational health reports.

See Me GP provides private prescriptions only, rather than NHS prescriptions. It also offers corporate and business health services. These include workplace consultations, acute issue treatment, referrals to specialists and health talks. The GPs work alongside the integrated wellness team at Place Eight.
