Dr Sheryl Kaplan

Dr Sheryl Kaplan helps patients with women’s health concerns at EdgCARE, including period problems, pelvic pain, menopausal symptoms, contraception and HRT. She leads the Women’s Health service, holds diplomas in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare, and has training in contraceptive procedures including coil and implant fittings, as well as menopause care.

She also offers steroid injections for shoulder joint problems, tennis elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome, De Quervain’s tenosynovitis, trigger finger and trochanteric bursitis. Steroid injection treatment is subject to Dr Kaplan’s clinical discretion, with the management plan discussed during the consultation.

Her background includes more than 10 years as an in-house GP for local nursing homes, specialising in dementia care. She has a holistic approach to consultations and is Clinical Lead GP for EdgCARE.
