Dr Tamar Nisner helps run EdgCARE's Menopause Management Service, seeing women at any stage of menopause, including those with current symptoms or concerns and those already taking medication who would like a review.

A one hour consultation includes a review of menopause symptoms and past medical history, a full examination, blood pressure and body mass index checks, plus breast examination and pelvic examination if required. The service can include blood tests covering blood count, kidney and liver function, cholesterol, diabetes screen, thyroid function, iron levels, vitamin D, B12, folate and hormone markers.
