EF Sport Therapies

EF Sport Therapies has one site at The Shed, Farnham Rugby Club's rehab and fitness facility in Farnham. It provides sports massage therapy, sports injury assessment, rehabilitation, training load management, injury management and injury reduction work.

Its treatments include injury assessment for musculoskeletal sports injuries, sports massage for soft tissue problems linked with repetitive or strenuous activity and trauma, and rehabilitation using strength and mobility programming following injury. It also offers taping and strapping to support joints or muscles after injury, plus strength and conditioning through exercise prescription, strength training, aerobic conditioning, power development and mobility work. Hot stone massage can be added to sports massage.

Care is provided by Liffy Farrant. She qualified in sports massage in 2018, after completing a BSc (Hons) in Sports Science Performance in 2017 and an MSc in Strength and Conditioning in 2018 at the University of Chichester. Her stated interests include football, training load management and recovery strategies.

Liffy has worked with athletic populations, including University of Chichester Women's Football Club high performance academy, Chichester City Football Club, England Universities Women's Football and the Farnham Falcons women's rugby squads at Farnham Rugby Club, where she has been involved as pitchside therapist and S&C/Rehab coach.

Appointments are provided in person at The Shed. EF Sport Therapies also provides mobile in-home sports massage within its stated local mobile area from Headley, with patients needing enough space for a small portable massage table.
