About Empower Pelvic Health
At Empower Pelvic Health in Menai Bridge, Lizzie, the Clinical Lead Physiotherapist, and Kirsty, the Associate Physiotherapist, provide pelvic health physiotherapy. The practice was previously called The Pelvic Physios.
Kirsty is an Associate Physiotherapist and Mummy MOT qualified practitioner. Her 1:1 appointments cover antenatal pelvic health, including musculoskeletal back, hip and pelvic girdle pain, Mummy MOT and postnatal pelvic health, stress urinary incontinence, bladder urgency and urge incontinence, mild prolapse symptoms, and general pelvic wellness, including peri and menopause.
Lizzie is the Clinical Lead Physiotherapist. Clinical Lead Physiotherapists at the practice are fully qualified HCPC registered physiotherapists with degree level qualifications and over 10 years of clinical experience in pelvic health physiotherapy. They can assess and treat all pelvic health conditions that Empower Pelvic Health currently provides a service for.
The Clinical Lead Physiotherapist also treats overactive bladder syndrome, bladder pain syndrome, chronic pelvic pain, painful intercourse, constipation, pelvic organ prolapse, bowel urgency, bowel incontinence, endometriosis and adenomyosis, and vaginismus.
Care is provided through 1:1 physiotherapy appointments. The practice also offers joint appointments where the Associate Physiotherapist is supported by the Clinical Lead Physiotherapist, either in the treatment room or nearby, with time included for clinical reasoning and treatment planning.
