Erika’s care is patient centred and uses a combination of treatment types, advice and rehabilitation exercises. Her osteopathic treatment may include massage, stretching and joint manipulation. She also uses functional and cranial osteopathic approaches, particularly with babies and children. Cranial osteopathy uses gentle pressure to the head and body and is suitable for people of all ages.

Her work covers people presenting with a range of symptoms and conditions commonly treated by osteopaths, including acute and chronic low back pain, acute and chronic neck pain, generalised aches and pains, cramp and localised circulatory problems, digestive problems, fibromyalgia, frozen shoulder, joint pain and muscle spasm, headache and dizziness originating from the neck, migraine, minor sports injuries, neuralgia, hip and knee osteoarthritis, sciatica, shoulder girdle pain, tennis elbow and inability to relax. For low back or neck pain directly resulting from injury or accident, patients are advised to consult a medical practitioner first.

Infant feeding support is available for families with babies whose symptoms stem from feeding difficulties. Erika is a qualified Infant Feeding Coach and can advise on positioning whilst feeding, alongside osteopathy where appropriate.

Erika has provided osteopathic care to the local community for 24 years. She is registered with the General Osteopathic Council, is a member of the Institute of Osteopathy, is a Fellow and member of the Sutherland Cranial College of Osteopathy, and is a member of The Federation of Antenatal Educators.
