Evoke Neurological Rehabilitation

Specialist neurological physiotherapy is provided for people recovering from or living with neurological conditions, including stroke, Parkinson's disease and multiple sclerosis. Evoke Neurological Rehabilitation Ltd is a community-based rehabilitation service covering the Cotswolds and surrounding areas, with care based on detailed assessment and an individual treatment approach.

The service assesses and treats Functional Neurological Disorder, peripheral neuropathy, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, Motor Neurone Disease, cerebellar disorders, cerebral palsy, vestibular disorders and balance disorders. Rehabilitation may focus on movement, function, mobility, posture, balance, strength, coordination, muscle tone, fatigue management and everyday independence, depending on the condition and assessment findings.

Treatment is available at the clinic in Calmsden, as well as in settings such as the patient's home, a gym, a community centre or a pool. The service also uses neurological rehabilitation equipment including LiteGait for supported gait and functional training, UAN.GO for exoskeleton-assisted gait training, MOTOmed Movement Therapy for passive, assisted and active arm or leg training, Blaze Pods for reaction and coordination exercises, a tilt table for graded standing, and EasyStand Evolv for supported standing work.

The clinical team includes a neurological specialised physiotherapist, an assistant physiotherapist and junior assistant physiotherapists with an interest in neurological physiotherapy. Their collective clinical focus includes neurological assessment, movement rehabilitation, gait training, functional rehabilitation and support for people with neurological conditions.
