Dr Walton appointments are for online clinical psychology, including therapy for trauma, phobias and anxiety. Dr Laura Walton also works with depression or low mood, panic, stress, overwhelm, burnout and fatigue, as well as lifestyle concerns such as diet, exercise, weight and sleep.

Her main therapy approaches include ACT and EMDR, including EMDR intensive therapy. She is registered with the HCPC and is an EMDR UK Accredited Practitioner. She is also registered with a range of health insurers.

Dr Walton provides appointments by online video call. She offers online sessions UK-wide, and in some cases beyond the UK. She has specialised in online practice since 2018.

She provides specialist psychological services for scuba divers through Fit To Dive. This includes support or therapy after a diving incident, such as underwater panic, a distressing equipment problem, out-of-air situations, entrapment, entanglement, rapid ascent, and traumatic diving incidents. She also works with diving-related anxiety, repeated panic, specific fears and phobias, stress reactions, intrusive thoughts, and psychological or behavioural barriers affecting diving or training.

For divers, her work may also cover non-diving issues that affect psychological, behavioural or physical fitness-to-dive, including excessive anxiety, low mood, depression, chronic stress, burnout, confidence, esteem, physical fitness, diet and poor sleep. This is psychological guidance, information and skills training, not scuba diving tuition or medical fitness-to-dive assessment.

Dr Walton also offers coaching, rapid access psychological decompression after an incident, educational courses, and consultation or supervision for psychologists.
