Routine Podiatry/Chiropody is for nail and skin care, corns, calluses, cracked heels and ingrowing toenails.

Footwell Podiatry Ltd is Rachel Rayner's HCPC registered podiatry clinic in Preston. She treats foot and lower limb problems, including foot pain, plantar fasciitis, fungal infections, verrucae and diabetic foot problems. She qualified in 2022 after a Podiatry degree at Salford University, graduating with First Class Honours.

Care includes general foot health, routine podiatry care, complex nail care, corn treatment and fungal nail and skin care. Other services include diabetic foot checks, wound care, verruca treatment, Verrutop, nail surgery and warm wax therapy. Footwear advice is also covered.

Biomechanics appointments cover foot pain, heel pain, forefoot pain and recurring strain from everyday activity. Assessment may include posture, movement, gait, footwear, biomechanical tests and orthotic prescription if indicated. Rachel also sees ankle pain, Achilles tendonitis and flat feet.

Appointments start with symptoms, history and goals. Rachel then examines foot health, posture and movement where relevant. Patients leave with a treatment plan and practical next steps.

Home visits are available, subject to availability, for routine podiatry patients unable to attend clinic. This applies where health, mobility or vulnerability is the reason. No GP referral is needed for a private podiatry appointment. Attendance is by appointment only, and the clinic has parking outside.
