Francis Rock Osteopathy and Acupuncture

Osteopathy is for back pain, neck pain, slipped disc, sciatica, arthritis and sports injuries. Francis Rock Osteopathy and Acupuncture also provides acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in Newquay.

Francis treats musculoskeletal problems including frozen shoulder, rotator cuff injuries, hip pain, knee pain, headaches, migraines and repetitive strain injuries. Osteopathic techniques stated include joint mobilisations, muscle energy technique, trigger point release, Cranio Sacral therapy, myofascial release and high velocity thrusts.

Acupuncture is offered for musculoskeletal pain, headaches, migraines, gastrointestinal disorders and gynaecological problems. Listed areas include IBS, diverticulitis, bloating, gastritis, constipation, diarrhoea, Crohn's disease, painful periods, infertility, PMS, menopause, PCOS, fibroids, endometriosis and irregular cycles.

The clinic also covers acupuncture during pregnancy and fertility care through Cornwall Fertility Clinic. Francis has a special interest in reproductive health and worked with reproductive endocrinologists at Create IVF in Toronto.

Traditional Chinese herbal medicine is offered using granular extracts made to GMP standards. Stated areas include insomnia, fatigue, digestive disorders, colds, influenza, chronic headaches, skin disorders, allergies, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, PMS, painful menstruation, infertility, impotence, prostate disorders and menopause-related disorders.

Francis graduated from the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Vancouver in 2004. He completed postgraduate study at Anhui Hospital of TCM in China. He later graduated with a Masters in Osteopathy in the UK. He is taking on new patients in the Newquay area.
