Franzie Kelly Acupuncture

Franzie Kelly Acupuncture treats pain, stress-related symptoms, sleep problems, fertility concerns and women's health issues through acupuncture and bodywork. Care is based in Totnes and delivered by Franzie Kelly. She provides acupuncture, massage and combined acupuncture and massage sessions.

Her listed clinical areas include anxiety, depression, tinnitus, back pain, frozen shoulder and plantar fasciitis. She also works with fertility, gynaecology, period pain, pregnancy, labour, energy and sleep. Other areas listed include migraines, chronic pain, hayfever, IBS, Bell's palsy and autoimmune diseases.

For musculoskeletal symptoms, bodywork may be combined with acupuncture, cupping, massage or moxa. This includes repetitive strain, tennis elbow, muscular stiffness, neck stiffness, sciatica and general aches and pains. She takes a full history before bodywork and palpates the area before treatment. Exercises and aftercare are provided following all treatments.

An initial acupuncture session includes a full health consultation. Needles are placed at selected points around the body. Patients can remain clothed, with loose clothing recommended for access. Moxa uses mugwort to create warmth to the area.

Franzie gained a Diploma in Holistic Therapies. She studied acupuncture at The Northern College of Acupuncture in York. She is a British Acupuncture Council member and is fully insured. She undertakes CPD days as part of her membership. She is further specialising in women's health and mental health. She is also studying for a masters in psychology, mental health and wellbeing.
