Happy Bubba Tongue Tie Clinic is for infants and families needing support with tongue tie, colic, reflux and feeding challenges. The clinic provides assessment, treatment, support and care for symptoms of tongue tie, also called ankyloglossia, plus breastfeeding and bottle feeding support.

The service is run by Caron Newton in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire. Caron is a registered midwife with more than 15 years' experience, a registered health visitor, a community children's nurse, a tongue tie practitioner, a hypnobirthing practitioner and a qualified oral function specialist. Her work is focused on babies and families, including oral dysfunction and feeding difficulties.

Care is available through in-person clinic appointments and home visits. Bookable care includes initial consultation and treatment in clinic or at home, follow-up consultation and feeding support in clinic or at home, and frenulotomy if required in clinic or at home. The clinic states that each baby is assessed individually, with treatment and support considered in relation to the severity and class of the tongue tie and the feeding or other issues linked to it.

Feeding support covers breast and bottle feeding. The clinic also works with families whose babies have symptoms of colic and reflux, and with parents seeking help after a tongue tie division, including post-care support and exercises.

Happy Bubba Tongue Tie Clinic is regulated by the Care Quality Commission. The clinic states that it maintains policies covering safeguarding, consent, infection control, equality and client confidentiality, and that it refers on where additional support is needed.
