At Haydock & Runcorn Clinics, Andrew Walklate BSc (Hons) Podiatry provides podiatry and chiropody care for foot and lower limb concerns. He is an HCPC registered podiatrist and a member of the Royal College of Podiatry.

Core podiatry treatments include nail cutting and thinning, hard skin, callus and corn removal, heel fissure treatment, fungal nail treatment, verruca treatment and care for the diabetic foot. Diabetic foot checks are offered as a stand-alone service or as part of routine foot care, with checks of sensation, circulation and the general condition of the feet.

Advanced podiatry includes nail surgery for ingrowing, deformed or fungal nail problems, verruca needling for long term verrucas and Clearanail for fungal nails. Verruca care may include support with home treatment, freezing, Verrutop and needling. Fungal nail options include Clearanail, nail reduction or nail removal.

MSK podiatry covers foot pain and biomechanical problems, including heel pain and pain affecting the foot, lower back, knee or hip. A biomechanical assessment includes examination of the feet, examination of the joints of the legs and feet, a standing examination and a walking assessment.

Appointments are provided at The Clinic @ Haydock and Mersey Clinic. The Haydock clinic states that free parking is available. Treatments are by appointment only, with Sunday morning availability on request.
