Heart Health Hub

Heart Health Hub has two sites, in Dundonald, Belfast, and in Holywood. It provides private cardiac diagnostics and cardiovascular rehabilitation, with non-invasive heart tests for people having a heart check, investigating symptoms or needing structured cardiac rehabilitation.

Services include cardiac screening, echocardiogram, heart rhythm assessments, resting 12 lead ECG, ambulatory ECG or Holter monitoring, and blood pressure monitoring. Echocardiogram is used to assess heart structure, valve function and overall cardiac health. Heart rhythm assessment checks the heart's electrical activity and can look for irregular rhythms such as atrial fibrillation.

Cardiac screening is available from age 14 and is used to assess heart health and potential risks. Blood pressure monitoring can check for hypertension or hypotension, and may be used where concerns include white coat syndrome, dizziness, headaches or other unexplained symptoms. The practice also offers cardiac risk profiling.

Cardiac rehabilitation is offered through one-to-one personalised programmes. Care is provided by NHS-trained cardiac scientists, cardiac physiologists and cardiac specialists, and GP referrals are accepted. If further input is needed, onward referral routes to cardiologists are available.

Care is delivered at its clinics, with home visit options for ECG and blood pressure monitoring. Several tests can be combined in one visit where a fuller heart check is needed. For teams and organisations, Heart Health Hub provides sports team, gym and corporate workplace heart health services, including on-site testing for group bookings.

Group screening packages may include resting ECG, echocardiogram if required, blood pressure assessment, Holter monitoring, cardiac risk assessment, lifestyle and family history review, and a report with recommendations. These services are available for sports clubs, CrossFit and Hyrox gyms, boxing and martial arts clubs, running clubs, endurance teams, university sports programmes, corporate fitness groups and personal training studios. There is ample parking at its clinic sites.
