Held Health Limited

Held Health Limited provides child and adolescent mental health care, with support for autism, ADHD, anxiety and depression. It offers Right to Choose CYP autism and ADHD assessments for young people up to 18, alongside initial consultations with a child and adolescent consultant psychiatrist or clinical psychologist.

The service supports young people from age 6 to 18. Once a young person is under its care, support can continue up to age 25, with transition to an adult service where appropriate. Families can self-refer, and Held Health also accepts referrals from GPs and other professionals.

Clinical areas named by Held Health include autism, ADHD, anxiety, depression, family therapy, speech and language therapy, and occupational therapy. The service states that eating disorders, very high risk self-harm and suicidal behaviours are not suitable for its care, and that these cases should be directed to appropriate local services.

Care is available online and in person at clinic locations including Exeter, Manchester, Basingstoke and London. Clinic hours vary by clinician, and some clinicians may offer evening or weekend appointments. Held Health states that it is not an emergency service and does not provide out-of-hours care.

Held Health describes a multidisciplinary clinical team. Its practitioners have trained with the NHS, have at least five years' experience, and hold valid accreditation with the relevant clinical body. The service is regulated by the Care Quality Commission, and states that it is recognised by Aviva and Vitality.
