Appointments begin with an initial consultation to look at your needs and decide a personalised course of treatment. Acupuncture is carried out using fine needles placed at specific points on the body. In the Chinese medicine approach used by the practice, these points sit on channels connected with the organs, with treatment focused on Qi, Blood and bodily fluids.

Cupping is offered using glass or suction cups, usually placed on the back and shoulders. The practice uses cupping to work with Qi and Blood flow, and for tension and muscle soreness.

Gua Sha is also available, most commonly for the neck, shoulders and back, though it may be used elsewhere. The practice explains Gua Sha in traditional terms, including removing heat and toxins from the body and supporting the smooth flow of Blood and Qi.
