Medical emergencies need in-person emergency care.

Yes. After a clinical assessment, the GP can issue a private prescription if medication is clinically indicated. The prescription is sent electronically to a pharmacy of your choice for collection.

Yes. i-doccare includes fit notes and specialist referrals among its services. The GP may also discuss referrals to specialist mental health services where appropriate.

The GP will explain why a physical assessment is needed and advise the next step, such as seeing a local GP, an urgent care centre or A&E. Severe chest pain, difficulty breathing, suspected stroke or major trauma need immediate in-person emergency care.
