Inspire Dental Reading

A dental examination is used to check your teeth and gums, arrange x-rays if needed, and provide oral healthcare and prevention advice. Inspire Dental Reading provides general, preventative, restorative, cosmetic and orthodontic dental care.

General dentistry at the practice includes extractions, root canal treatment and amalgam removals. Root canal treatment is for a tooth where the blood or nerve supply has become infected through decay or injury. The treatment involves removing infection from the root canal, then cleaning and filling the root, and a crown may be needed afterwards to support the tooth.

Preventative care includes children's dentistry, dental hygiene, bad breath and gum disease care, decay detection and mouth cancer screening. The practice also offers treatment for broken teeth, crowns, bridges, dentures and dental implants.

Cosmetic dental treatments include teeth whitening, porcelain veneers, inlays and white fillings. Sports mouth guards are also available. Orthodontic treatment includes clear braces.

Emergency appointments are part of the practice's services. For urgent treatment or advice outside opening hours, patients are directed to NHS 111. The practice provides written individual treatment plans and written treatment costs, with NHS treatment categorised into three bands.
