InTune Clinic

InTune Clinic Ltd is an in-person musculoskeletal clinic in Newcastle upon Tyne, offering osteopathy, physiotherapy, manual therapy, sports therapy, rehabilitation, massage and one-to-one Pilates. Its bookable appointments include osteopathy and physiotherapy initial consultations, pregnancy consultations, deep tissue therapy, Stress Less sessions, The Unwind Hour Massage, Pilates 1:1 sessions and Project 10k soft tissue massage.

The clinic works with musculoskeletal pain and injury, including back pain, sciatica, knee pain, piriformis syndrome, neck pain, tennis elbow, headaches, whiplash and shoulder pain. Pregnancy pain and New Mams' Tune-Up appointments are also part of its service list.

MSK services are provided by osteopaths, physiotherapists, sports therapists and student physiotherapists. Osteopathy and sports therapy at the clinic are restricted to musculoskeletal conditions and can include detailed assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, exercise prescription, manual therapy, movement re-education, taping, electrotherapy, laser therapy and blood flow restriction training.

Care starts with assessment of aches, pains or injuries, followed by discussion of findings and a treatment plan. The clinic also gives personalised self-care advice as part of appointments, with progress reviewed during follow-up sessions where relevant.

As a teaching clinic, student physiotherapists may be present at appointments or may carry out appointments. Patients are asked for consent before student physiotherapists are present. Patients may also be asked health evaluation questions before an appointment to help use the in-person appointment time appropriately.
