Ishbel Benzie

Ishbel Benzie Ltd provides physiotherapy and complementary therapy at Dragonflys in Oldbury. The practice offers physiotherapy treatment, acupuncture, myofascial release, sports massage and Reiki.

Physiotherapy care includes support for people recovering from injury or managing a chronic condition. Treatment plans may include myofascial release, acupuncture and tailored exercise therapy, based on the client’s presentation.

Ishbel has over 16 years of experience as a physiotherapist. After qualifying in 2007, she worked in the NHS for nine years across outpatient services, ICU, neurology, stroke rehabilitation, transplant care, cardiothoracic and respiratory medicine, elderly care, hospital discharge facilitation in community settings and community orthopaedics.

She later worked in a charity setting with a focus on multiple sclerosis. In that role she incorporated treatments including acupuncture and myofascial release.

Her qualifications include a pre-registration MSc, AACP certification in acupuncture, a sports massage diploma, Bobath Level 1 training and a sports taping qualification. She is working towards a diploma in myofascial release.
