Dominic Richmond - Knee Physio (Cambridge)

Knee Physio provides specialist knee physiotherapy in Bury St Edmunds and Cambridge. Dominic Richmond offers Specialist Knee Consultation initial assessments and follow-up appointments for self-funding patients, along with a Runner's Performance MOT for runners.

Treatment is provided by a fully registered physiotherapist. Care starts with a detailed assessment before treatment, including questions about symptoms and an examination of the affected area. Assessment and treatment procedures are explained, and patients may ask questions or decline any part of an intervention. Patients are asked to share relevant medical history, previous treatment and investigations.

Clinical areas covered include ACL injury and reconstruction, ACL repair, PCL injury, posterior lateral corner injury, patellofemoral pain and instability, osteochondral defect, degenerative meniscus, meniscal injury, meniscus allograft transplant, autologous chondrocyte implantation, knee osteoarthritis, Hoffa's fat pad syndrome, medial plica syndrome and patellar tendinopathy.

Children under 16 are considered on an individual basis with the physiotherapist and must be chaperoned by a person with parental responsibility throughout appointments. Patients are welcome to bring a chaperone to an assessment.

Medical insurance may be used for treatment where the patient's policy covers it, including any required pre-authorisation, excesses or shortfalls. Self-funding appointments are also available.
