Laura Forrest Osteopathy

Laura Forrest Osteopathy is for adults, babies, children and postnatal women with musculoskeletal pain or concerns. Laura provides general osteopathy and cranial osteopathy in Billericay, with assessment and treatment for all ages.

Adult osteopathy covers upper and lower back pain, back ache, neck and shoulder pain, muscular aches and pains, strains, sciatica, nerve compression, joint pain and stiffness. It also covers cervicogenic headaches, migraines, sports injuries, postural injuries and occupational injuries.

Babies and children are seen from newborn age through to adolescence. Laura uses cranial and structural osteopathy techniques. Parents may attend with concerns about head shape, colic, movement milestones or feeding. Children may also be assessed for pain linked to sport, posture or activity.

Postnatal care includes the Mummy MOT, a musculoskeletal check after birth. It includes postural, pelvic floor and abdominal muscle assessment. Laura also gives advice on lifting, buggy pushing, activity and rehabilitation. Babies can attend Mummy MOT appointments, as the clinic room is set up for them.

Further services include Happy Baby Check, combined Happy Baby Check and Mummy MOT, pregnancy related pain management and rehabilitation, injury diagnosis and treatment, medical acupuncture and dry needling, sports taping, HVLA adjustment and cancer tailored treatment. Cancer tailored treatment is adapted to current and past medical history. Osteopathy does not directly treat cancer.

Laura Forrest is a member of the General Osteopathic Council. She is a Mummy MOT practitioner, Happy Baby Check practitioner and general paediatric specialist. She is also first aid trained, insured and enhanced CRB checked. Her background includes 15 years in clinical research before training as an osteopath.
