Lulu Dai provides acupuncture therapy with a focus on Fu's Subcutaneous Needling, also called Floating Acupuncture. FSN uses a modified acupuncture needle in the subcutaneous layer and is directed at areas with trigger points or taut muscles. The clinic uses it mainly for musculoskeletal and soft tissue problems, including acute sprains and injuries, muscular strain, sports injuries, tennis elbow, plantar fasciitis, frozen shoulder, neck and shoulder pain, lower back pain, sciatica, tendonitis, bursitis, arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and hip, knee and ankle pain.

Other clinical areas covered include trigeminal pain, early stage avascular necrosis, sudden sensorineural hearing loss within one month, weak bladder and weak pelvic floor muscles, endometriosis, post COVID symptoms, Bell's palsy within one month, insomnia, depression, anxiety, stress, headache, chronic gastritis, chronic cholecystitis, dysmenorrhoea, sleep apnoea, fibromyalgia, IVF fertility and dysphagia.

Alongside acupuncture, the clinic provides Tui Na Massage, Reflexology, Gua Sha and Cupping. Tui Na Massage uses kneading, pressing, rolling and stretching techniques and is used for muscle tension, joint pain, stress and some internal conditions. Reflexology is foot, shin and calf pressure point work. Gua Sha uses a smooth-edged tool on the body or face and is commonly used for neck and shoulder pain, headaches, tension and colds. Cupping uses suction cups on the skin and is commonly used for back pain, tight muscles, stress and colds.

During acupuncture care, Lulu Dai takes a history and examines the problem before treatment where appropriate. Her background includes training in traditional Chinese medicine in China, including a three-year programme, followed by further training in Fu's Subcutaneous Needling. She is a registered practitioner of the Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture UK and a member of the Fu's Subcutaneous Needling Association of Europe.
