Dr Rashad Nawaz
About Dr Rashad Nawaz
Dr Rashad Nawaz sees children and young people for broad neurodevelopmental assessment, including ADHD, wider neuro-developmental concerns, behaviour, emotional wellbeing, sleep, and preschool language or social communication delay. His ADHD assessment is child focused and not limited to one symptom or diagnosis.
For ADHD assessments, he requires a QbTest before the first appointment and interprets the result alongside parent and teacher questionnaires and other clinical information. He also offers treatment consultations for young people with an established ADHD diagnosis, including discussion of medication, after reviewing diagnostic reports and carrying out a physical examination at the first appointment.
His approach is to look at the child as a whole, consider the evidence, and use clinical judgement rather than focus only on making a diagnosis.
