Môr Health

Môr Health is a private GP clinic in Porthcawl, with appointments booked online and paid for in advance. It provides private GP care for acute illness, ongoing health conditions and preventative care, and can see children for a range of medical concerns when a parent or guardian attends with them.

Consultations may include assessment, examination, treatment planning, private prescriptions, investigations or referral where clinically appropriate. Private prescriptions can be issued as part of a consultation where appropriate, with medication costs paid separately at the pharmacy.

The practice’s stated services include blood tests, ECGs and joint injections where clinically appropriate, with any additional costs discussed and agreed before proceeding. Follow-up appointments can be arranged where needed to review progress, results or ongoing treatment.

Môr Health can arrange a professional chaperone for certain consultations with advance notice. It is not an emergency service, and advises patients with a medical emergency to call 999 or attend Accident and Emergency.

Access is currently via the front of the building through a step-free entrance with a ramp, then along the internal corridor to the clinic room. There is no on-site parking, but a nearby public car park has disabled parking spaces. The practice is registered with Healthcare Inspectorate Wales.
