About Move Physio and Pilates

Initial Physiotherapy Consultation and Treatment is for a specific injury, pain or recurring problem, with assessment, hands-on treatment, education, advice and exercise prescription. Move Physio and Pilates in Stirling provides private physiotherapy for musculoskeletal conditions, sports injuries, pain and women’s health concerns.

Pilates is part of the clinic’s work, including 1 to 1 Pilates, clinical Pilates, ante and post-natal Pilates, and Pilates for menopause. Kinetic Chain Release is also offered.

Move Physio and Pilates is run by Gillian Stewart, Physiotherapist and Clinic Owner. Gillian graduated with a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science from Edinburgh Napier University in 2012 and an MSc in Physiotherapy from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2015. She has worked in private practice and the NHS, and has specialised in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and women’s health physiotherapy.

Gillian’s listed skills include the Pro Sport Academy Approach, APPI Physio-Led Pilates levels 1, 2 and 3, APPI Ante and Post Natal Pilates, APPI Pilates for Menopause, Kinetic Chain Release, Connective Tissue Release, Trigger Point Therapy, exercise prescription and spinal joint mobilisations.
