About MUMS
MUMS is in Birmingham, with one site offering private GP care, breast consultations, diagnostics, scans and screening.
It treats breast symptoms in women and men, including lumps, breast appearance changes, inverted nipple, pain and discharge. Breast care includes clinical assessment, mammogram referral, breast ultrasound, MRI discussion, biopsy discussion and second opinions. Mr Seni Mylvaganam is its Specialist Consultant Breast Surgeon. Private GP services include GP appointments, health screens, weight loss treatments, travel vaccinations, routine immunisations and flu vaccination. Testing includes blood tests, combined blood tests, liver function tests, cholesterol and lipid profiles, allergy tests and STI/STD tests. Diagnostics include ECGs, echocardiogram, paediatric echocardiogram, general ultrasound, paediatric ultrasound and musculoskeletal ultrasound. It also offers mammogram, MRI, CT and X-ray imaging.
Women's health services include gynaecology, paediatric and adolescent gynaecology, contraception, emergency contraception, coils, menopause clinic and cervical smears/HPV. Consultant clinical areas include adult cardiology, adult dermatology, adult endocrinology, haematology, respiratory medicine, rheumatology and urology. They also include fetal medicine, renal medicine, stroke prevention, orthopaedic knee and orthopaedic upper limb care. The wider clinical team includes counselling, psychotherapy, dietetics and specialist female pelvic health physiotherapy. Care is provided at the clinic, with on-site diagnostics, testing and scans. For breast concerns, an NHS GP referral is not needed. Parking is available.
