Muscles Matter

Muscles Matter treats injury, muscle tension and soft tissue issues in Woodbridge. The practice provides sports massage, soft tissue therapy, deep tissue massage, cupping and personal training. Reflexology and lymphatic drainage appointments may also be available on Tuesdays.

Care is provided by Matt, the owner and sports massage therapist. He qualified at Level 3 in sports massage in 2018 and at Level 5 in sports massage and soft tissue therapy in 2021.

Sports massage at Muscles Matter involves work on soft tissue, including skin, muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia. Appointments can cover physical issues linked with repetitive activity, strenuous activity and trauma. Personal training is also offered, including individual and small group sessions.

At an initial assessment, patients may complete a medical questionnaire and discuss current and past physical issues. A treatment plan may be made, and exercises may be included for the patient to do independently. There may be limited time for massage during the initial assessment.

Patients can have someone present during treatment. Anyone under 18 must have a parent or adult guardian present.
