Osteopath Lancaster

Osteopath Lancaster has one site in Lancaster, providing osteopathy for musculoskeletal pain and mobility problems.

The practice sees patients for backache, back pain, lower back pain, sciatica and rheumatic pain. It also works with arthritic pain, generalised aches and pains, muscle spasms and fibromyalgia.

Care covers shoulder, elbow, hip, knee and ankle problems. These include frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, golfers' elbow and joint pain linked to osteoarthritis. Neck and head symptoms include neck and shoulder stiffness, cervicogenic headache and migraine prevention. Care also covers carpal tunnel syndrome, jaw pain, neuralgia and tingling in the hands or fingers. Other areas include cramp, circulatory problems, digestion problems, menopause and perimenopause related symptoms, and tension.

Osteopathy is hands-on. Appointments can include osteopathic adjustments, soft tissue therapy, articulations and high velocity low amplitude thrusts. The practice can also incorporate acupuncture, dry needling, harmonics and soft tissue manipulation. New patient assessments include a health history, current condition review, examination and consultation.

Appointments include adult initial assessments, follow-up osteopathy appointments and student initial or follow-up treatment. Follow-up appointments are available with David Feherty or Jenny Reeves. Patients are not asked to sign up to blocks of treatment.

The team background includes sports and remedial massage, manual lymphatic drainage, acupuncture and dry needling. It also includes yoga, movement practice, hands-on treatment, rehabilitation and lifestyle advice. Appointments take place in person at the clinic. Osteopaths are regulated healthcare professionals.
