Pete Chambers Podiatry provides podiatry and chiropody care for conditions affecting the foot and lower limb in Brackley. Pete treats foot and leg problems, assesses gait, advises on footwear, and offers care for mobility concerns, footcare, sports injuries, rehabilitation and diabetes-related foot health.

General footcare includes nail cutting, callus and hard skin removal, corns, cracked heels, verrucae treatment and ingrowing toenails. The clinic also covers foot and ankle pain, sports injury treatment, biomechanical assessment, fungal infections, children's podiatry and custom orthotics and insoles.

Diabetic foot care is a specific area of focus. Diabetic foot assessments can include peripheral vascular, neurological and dermatological assessment, routine treatment, education, and a report to your GP or practice nurse where appropriate. Pete has experience from multidisciplinary diabetes foot clinics, vascular in-patient work and diabetes out-patient clinics.

For nail problems, the clinic provides conservative care first and can carry out nail surgery where needed for ingrowing, misshapen or fungal toenails. Pete holds additional entitlements to administer local anaesthesia for minor surgery and for the sale and supply of prescription-only medicines.

Pete graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Podiatric Medicine from the University of Northampton. He is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and is a member of the Royal College of Podiatry. His stated clinical interests include foot and ankle injuries, rehabilitation, sports-related podiatry and diabetes care.
